The DeFelsko FXS1-G PosiTector 6000 FXS1 Coating Thickness Gauge with Standard Gage Body, Xtreme High Temperature Cabled Probe FXS, Measures Coatings on Ferrous Metals, 0-80 mils is a precise, rugged tester designed to measure coating thickness on ferrous metals accurately and quickly using magnetic induction principles. The DeFelsko PosiTector 6000 FXS1 includes a FXS Xtreme™ probe for rough steel substrates. The FXS Xtreme probe is designed for hot rugged applications. The FXS probe features an improved zirconia-toughened alumina wear face and a new braided steel cable making it ideal for harsh conditions and continuous measurement on hot surfaces up to 250º C (500º F). Enhanced measuring speed of 100+ readings per minute makes it ideal for measuring large, rough surfaces quickly. The DeFelsko PosiTector 6000 FXS1 Standard Body features a large 2.8" impact resistant color touchscreen with redesigned keypad for quick menu navigation, 1,000 in one group memory reading storage capacity and USB data output.
