The Imada MH-275 Motorized Horizontal Test Stand is designed for tension, compression, and friction testing. Combination of screw system and state-of-the-art brushless motor provides extremely smooth and powerful operation over the entire speed range. Speed control, quick return and emergency stop are standard features. The MH-275 accepts the DPS, Z2 & ZP force gauges, additional models require the AP-002 adapter plate. When the force value reaches the Low setpoint, force control is activated to hold the tension or compression force between the High and Low setpoints programmed on the Imada Z Series force gauge. Use the optional digital timer to program the duration of the hold, up to 100 minutes in 1second increments. Ideal for non-destructive testing.
High Setpoint Force Control
When the force value reaches the Low setpoint, speed is reduced to the test speed set by the Speed Adjust Knob, and when the tension or compression force value reaches the High setpoint programmed on the Imada Z Series force gauge, the test stops. Ideal for creep testing.
